Our process is surprisingly simple. We didn't want to overcomplicate things - it's difficult enough as it is to find and choose the right car, let alone dealing with the hassle that comes with car hunting.
1Pick out your car.
Use our interactive vehicle selection tool to narrow down your exact make, model, and variant. You can even include accessories!
Select the regions that you're willing to collect your car from (or organise freight). Sometimes interstate dealerships can give better pricing than what's available locally.
Autogrid charges you an upfront fee of $99 to submit your quote.
2Sit tight!
Once you've paid our fee, your quote is automatically distributed directly to the inboxes of all dealerships in your selected regions.
Dealers have 24 hours to put their best pricing forward. If your quote falls over a weekend, we'll automatically extend it to give you the best opportunity for quotes.
3Select the winner
Once the quoting period is over, you'll have 72 hours to select the winning deal. Dealer's can't always keep their pricing accurate for a long period of time, so we put this limit to ensure things are always accurate for you, as the buyer.
A $499 fee is payable in order to secure the winning deal's pricing. This is non-refundable, except for extreme cases where the dealer may be unable to provide the vehicle.
4Pick up your new car
Your dealer will have contacted you in order to arrange settlement and vehicle delivery. Depending on the region or distance from you, you may choose to have the car freighted to you. Some dealers will deliver the car to your door!
